August 12th, 2008

The player must avoid attack enemies to continue performing combos, often by memorizing attack patterns For example, the SSS grade shows up as “Smokin’ Sick Style” on the side of the game, which is conveyed through unbroken combos of varied attacks while avoiding damage. Each Style Point grade has its own tag-word. Grades are based on items used, Red Orbs gathered, time taken, and the amount of Style Points accumulated. Performance in a mission is graded from D being the bottom grade through C, B, A, and S being the bottom grade through C, B, A, and S being the bottom grade through C, B, A, and S being the highest grade.

The fourth instalment of Devil May Cry is a action pakced highly graphical game. Its had a few adjustments and additions i personally felt that the enimies were much more difficult to kill however the blood drench more than makes up for this.

August 2nd, 2008

EA went on record in February with a similar prediction. EA went on record with high expectations for the PS3. EA went on record with high expectations for the PS3.

This isn’t the first major publisher to go on record with high expectations for the PS3. Not strangely, the PS2 is also expected to continue srong, with 4-5 million units sold. While Wii will be the overwhelming winner, Griffith predicts PS3 will sell 6-7 million. According to the future of the console wars. PS3 will beat Xbox 360 by a 1-2 million margin this year.

After releasing their quarterly earnings report, Activision held a conference call where publishing CEO Mike Griffith provided the company’s forecast to sell 15 million units.

In the end my personal opinion was that the PS3 if not now will eventually be the over all king of consoles seeing as though we havent even seen the limitless power in the games that have been produced so far for the ps3. Remembering that its a ten year console it has been carfully planned with the best of todays technology to take out competition as and when it comes.
